Toys

We have a large selection of toys to hire for children from 0 to 11 years old.

The committee aim to buy timeless, good quality toys and of course, all toys carry the CE mark. We always ask for our members' ideas when we have some money to spend on new toys and buy from reputable suppliers.

All toys are cleaned and checked for wear and tear when they are returned and are repaired or removed where necessary. Batteries are also replaced if worn out.

Our toy catalogue is split into the following sections:

Baby

A large selection of stimulating toys and equipment, including rattles and other sensory toys, baby gyms, soft books, shape sorters, musical toys and large activity centres such as the Jumperoo.

Early Years

A large range of sturdy toys to suit the needs of inquisitive and energetic toddlers.

Imaginative

Dressing-up clothes, doll houses, farms, train sets, puppets, play food... everything your child could want for pretend play.

Construction

Duplo, Meccano, Zoobs and many more toys to develop a child's hand-eye co-ordination and creative skills.

Puzzles and Games

Our range of jigsaws and games give you a chance to play together. We have a selection of wooden and floor jigsaws covering a wide range of themes and ages.

Electronic

Help your child's learning with our electronic toys ranging from handheld word recognition toys to laptops and PCs.

Musical

We have a collection of good quality percussion instruments, ranging from the regular xylophones and castanets to the more unusual bongo drums and boomwhackers!

Physical

Persuade your children to keep fit with out range of outdoor toys - we have balls, circus equipment, pop-up tents and goals, zedbugs and toddler trikes to try out.
