Funding

Matlock Toy Library is dependant on funding in order to operate. Whilst the Membership and Stay and Play fees cover the day to day running of the Toy Library, funding is vital in order to purchase new toys and to employ a part-time co-ordinator. The co-ordinator plans and runs the sessions, as well as overseeing the quality and maintenance of our toys, and dealing with the administrative tasks. A paid co-ordinator is essential to the success of our Toy Library, and helps to maintain a high standard of service provision.

We have recently received funding from Grassroots and the Ernest Bailey Scheme.

The Grassroots funding has been allocated to pay for a co-ordinator until March 2010.

The Ernest Bailey funding has been spent on a large range of puppets.
